Week 14 Waiver Wire: 8 players to consider adding to your fantasy football roster!

Every week, I put together a Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet for my subscribers that recommends players to consider adding either by spending waiver priority or blind bidding dollars, or simply waiting until waivers clear and scooping them up for free.

The following players are rostered in less than 50%—or near 50%—of Yahoo leagues. They are on this list because their recent usage—or injuries ahead of them—suggest they'll be fantasy relevant moving forward.

Obviously, keep your own league settings, rosters and needs in mind when choosing who to prioritize and whether or not you should spend priority on them, but these are common free agents that can provide a spark in week 14 or simply add depth to your roster.

Here are 8 players to consider adding from the week 14 waiver wire.

🏈 RB Chuba Hubbard (69% rostered...nice)

In Carolina's first game under interim head coach Chris Tabor, Chuba Hubbard handled 25(!) carries for 104 yards and 2 TD (22.4 PPR points). And that was against a tough Buccaneers front that is limiting RBs to the 10th fewest PPR points per game.

Hubbard has more difficult matchups coming up against the Saints and Falcons but also gets a nice matchup vs the Packers in week 16.

It's gross, but Hubbard must be rostered in 100% of fantasy leagues.

Still, Hubbard is only worth waiver priority or blind bidding dollars if he will be in your starting lineup.

🏈 RB Ezekiel Elliott (40% rostered)

Rhamondre Stevenson is reportedly dealing with a high ankle sprain, an injury that will keep him out of the next several games, freeing up 16.2 touches per game—including 4.3 targets per game—that need to find new homes.

Ezekiel Elliott figures to inherit the majority of that work, elevating him to RB 2 value based on volume alone.

Of course, being the lead running back on a 2-10 team who's offense ranks 5th in yards and dead last in scoring is far from appetizing, as there will be very limited upside to Zeke as a fantasy option.

Still, Zeke is likely to step into a role of 15 or more touches per game, which is nearly impossible to find in week 14 of the NFL season.

Zeke is only worth waiver priority or blind bidding dollars if he will be in your starting lineup.

🏈 RB Antonio Gibson (56% rostered)

Brian Robinson suffered a hamstring injury in week 13, one that *could* keep him out of action over the next 3 weeks or so.

If that happens, 15.2 touches per game will be up for grabs, and Antonio Gibson will likely step into a heavy-volume role that puts him on the RB 2 radar.

Unfortunately, the Commanders are on bye in week 14, BUT that also means you can probably let waivers run and then add Gibson for free after the fact.

Keep an eye on Brian Robinson practice reports and updates over the next 2 weeks, and keep Chris Rodriguez on your radar as well.

Gibson is NOT someone I would spend priority or blind bidding dollars on with him entering a bye week and some uncertainty around Robinson's status, but I absolutely intend to add him everywhere I can AFTER waivers run.
