George Kittle is THE tight end you should target in the middle rounds of 2024 fantasy football drafts

👆 Episode 28 of Inside the 20 discusses whether or not you should smash or pass on Deebo Samuel, Brandon Aiyuk, George Kittle, Brock Purdy and more in 2024 fantasy football! 👆

What you're about to read is based on data provided in both BBFF's Discord Server and 2024 Fantasy Football Draft Guide. Imagine these kind of insights for every single player, on every single team, in every single game, every single week.

See the bottom of this post for more details!

Here's THE tight end you should target in the middle rounds of 2024 fantasy football drafts: George Kittle

On Drafters.com, George Kittle is currently being drafted as fantasy's TE 8 around pick 73 overall, which is an early 7th round pick in 12 team leagues.

And it's too late...

We're talking about a guy that:

🟢 has been fantasy’s TE 5 or better in 5 of the last 6 seasons—the lone exception being 2020 when he played in just 8 games

🟢 is averaging nearly 13 PPR points per game in 27 full games with Brock Purdy

🟢 has a solid floor and explosive ceiling with Purdy, scoring 10 or more PPR points 55.6% of the time and 20 or more PPR points 22.2% of the time with a high of 30 PPR points in week 16 of 2022

🟢 Finished as fantasy’s TE 5 overall in his first full season with Purdy last year

Sure, he's entering year 8 and his age 31 season; he's no spring chicken.

And it's ALSO worth noting that in 18 full games with Brock Purdy, Deebo Samuel AND Brandon Aiyuk, Kittle's average drops to "just" 11.1 PPR points per game.

But, for context, 11.1 PPR points per game over a 17 game season would have still made Kittle fantasy's TE 7 in 2023.

In other words, drafting Kittle at TE 8 is drafting him at his floor, which is still solid.

And the upside if Deebo (who's played 16 games in just 1 of 5 pro seasons) or Aiyuk (who formally requested a trade on 7/16) are NOT on the field?

Whew. It goes through the roof. 👇

🚨 In 9 career games with Brock Purdy where Deebo Samuel and/or Brandon Aiyuk played less than 44% of the offensive snaps, George Kittle is averaging 6.9 very nice targets and 16.3(!) PPR points per game. 🚨

For context, 16.3 PPR points per game over a 17 game season would have EASILY been fantasy's TE 1 in 2023.

Heck, 16.3 PPR points per game would be good for a WR 9 finish in 2023.

So you're talking about a consistent fantasy football producer with a solid floor and the occasional standalone ceiling, one that goes through the roof if Deebo and/or Aiyuk are not in uniform...

And THAT guy is being drafted as fantasy's number 8 tight end?
