2024 Fantasy Football Strategy: Whether or not to Draft Christian McCaffrey, Deebo Samuel, Brandon Aiyuk, George Kittle, Brock Purdy, Ricky Pearsall, Elijah Mitchell and the San Francisco 49ers!

👆 Episode 28 of Inside the 20 discusses whether or not you should smash or pass on Deebo Samuel, Brandon Aiyuk, George Kittle, Brock Purdy and more in 2024 fantasy football! 👆

The San Francisco 49ers have been a fantasy football juggernaut in 7 seasons under Kyle Shanahan’s tutelage, finishing 13th or better in scoring and 7th or better in offensive yards in 4 of the last 5 seasons.

Of course, they were even better—elite, even—in 2023, their first full season under Brock Purdy and Christian McCaffrey. On their way to a 12-5 record and a Super Bowl appearance, the 2023 49ers finished:

🔥 3rd in scoring

🔥 2nd in offensive yards

🔥 8th in rushing attempts

🔥 3rd in rushing yards

🔥 1st in rushing TDs

🔥 4th in passing yards

🔥 2nd in passing TDs

And you know what’s really wild about finishing 4th in passing yards and 2nd in passing TDs last year? These guys finished dead last in passing attempts.

Talk about maximum efficiency. San Francisco was elite across the board. And it trickled down to the individual level—the fantasy football level—as well:

🚀 Brock Purdy finished as fantasy’s QB 6.

🚀 Brandon Aiyuk was fantasy’s WR 14.

🚀 Deebo Samuel was fantasy’s WR 15.

🚀 George Kittle was fantasy’s TE 5.

🚀 And, oh yeah, Christian McCaffrey was fantasy football’s best PLAYER—not just running back—averaging an absurd 24.5 PPR points per game.

BUT…

You know what big 2023 seasons mean?

Big 2024 price tags in fantasy football drafts (believe me; I’ve done more than 100 of them).

You can’t get Christian McCaffrey unless you have the #1 pick, and neither Deebo Samuel nor Brandon Aiyuk make it out of round 2 in 12 team leagues.

And so, when considering your 2024 fantasy football strategy, the question is…

Are Christian McCaffrey, Deebo Samuel, Brandon Aiyuk, George Kittle, Brock Purdy, Elijah Mitchell, Isaac Guerendo, Ricky Pearsall and Jauan Jennings worth their cost in 2024 fantasy football drafts?

Don’t worry. I already dug into all of the data. And after 100 real drafts already this summer, I have those answers ready for you.

All you have to do is sit back, relax, and enjoy today’s episode (28) of Inside the 20! The video is above, but feel free to listen on Apple, Spotify, or anywhere else you listen to podcasts (please leave a 5 star rating and a review! 😊).
